Logan and Kragthorpe were mentioned a bunch last year...

I would think so.

I would imagine any coach would look at our offensive talent with Mett or another stud QB coming in, and just start drooling. I can't imagine he'd turn down a job offer to play big time football instead of hanging in Okie State.

I think he gives Billy G a shot. He has been around the players for almost a year and I believe Les has that "give back" mentality for all the chances he got. If he does not give it to Billy in the event Crowton is gone, then it is as though saying he does not trust Billy to take it over. Wasn't Billy the OC in waiting pick up since Les could not find a replacement to go with last year?

Mike Leach could be awesome with Mett and our receiving corp.

I know it will never happen, but perhaps we can offer Malzhan just a little bit more than what AU is.

He stays in an hotel apartment in Stillwater. Bags could be packed in minutes.

Yep Leach is my choice and some say he would never work for Miles, but now I am not so sure, they are both crazy. Also we all know Leach loves BR and TS. I absolutely feel he would take the job, be gone n three for another HC job, but during his tenure, sickest LSU offense ever. Liked everything he did, his play calling, QB development, and the OL line splits, team him up with a Chavis, deadly. Also how sick would it be for him to get back into coaching turn LSU into a super power and have douches like Craig James have to prop him all year.

It probably won't, but:

(1) a week or two ago on Leach's talkshow on Sirius, an LSU fan called in and said something like "please come coach my team." Leach said something like "if I go I would be the OC."

(2)Additionally, Leach also said (although I think it was on a different day) that if LSU had a decent offense they would be "untouchable" and that the Auburn game wouldn't have been close.

Anybody know why Leach broadcasted his show from BR a few weeks ago? He usually does it from his house in Key West.

It seems like the consensus is that we want Leach as #1 and Dana as #2. I definitely like that lineup.

I actually want nothing to do with Leach. In the next 2 seasons, we will have a shite ton of big, stud running backs.

I would prefer a pro-style, or spread option offensive coordinator. I think either would fit our athletes well.

HIre Mangino and we win big. How do you think the media will handle Les and the fat man?

It depends on who is available. After what Tenn did to Ole Miss, I'm guessing some opportunities may open there.

I think we are wasting time to think about Leach coming here as OC--I think he'll probably take a head coaching position somewhere. Almost any of the others already mentioned should be a considerable improvement over Crowton.

Most people on this board would be happy with Moe, Larry or Curley instead of Crowton.
