I disagree.

I think publicly, Miles will be very vague like he has every other time. But, he'll dismiss it as usual. And, if Michigan every comes calling, he'll definitely sit down with them out of respect, etc.

Privately, if Michigan isn't going for Miles now, they aren't getting Miles IMO. I think Michigan could make Miles truly consider the offer if they targeted him early, told him that they thought he was the guy to lead their program back, really courted him.

If they go after Harbaugh first, and the process lingers for a month, and then they reach out to Miles, he's going to gracefully pass, IMO.

It's a slap in the face to a national championship coach, who is an alum, and who is always openly expressed love for Michigan to have to walk into a university that only has half buy in that he's the guy for the job.
