When crowton leaves will you watch Maryland games?

I think I will occasionally, if only out of morbid curiosity

Hell, it might work out for Gary when facing defenses like Navy every year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Maryland wins the acc the first year Gary is there

I live not to far away so I will be interested to see how it works out because I run into Terps fans all the time around D.C. and they talk just as much sh*t as any of us.

I will just to see what happens after the first QB he has graduates.

If we see no short side option, we'll know who called that shite at lsu

He never ran short side option at LA Tech????? I think it was because he had QBs that could read a defense and pass the ball just like Matt Flynn could do. He will do good at Maryland as long as he has a decent pro-style QB.

Worse yet, what if we run the short side option here when the new guy arrives, and we have clock issues, and we burn stupid timeouts etc.....then it hits us like a ton of bricks that LM was causing all the offensive woe's by overriding GC and his calls?

Yes I will and I'm not just saying this but I think the acc is the best conference for GC.

Lsu wasn't making all those mistakes on a consistent basis during 2005 and 2006...

I already do. Over the past few years at Maryland, I've seen a lot of playing a qb who is reputed to practice better (even though another clearly performs better when he gets in the game), lots of third down passes completed to bring up 4th and 2, struggles to get the ball to explosive playmakers, and poor end of half/game time management. So GC may fit right in.
Plus, as I said in another thread, he does have a very good soph qb returning (who got to play as a freshman when the guy in front of him was injured).
Folks around me at the games did wonder why I was screaming "what are you doing?" during relatively successful periods of Maryland games that overlapped with Tennessee and Arkansas.

Better believe it. Ill be in College Park a few times next season for some games to watch DOB light it up under Crowton's innaugural season. Definitely could challenge for the ACC crown. Top 25 fo sho. Maryland thank you!

Beltway Bengal,
Hey I live in the DMV area as well. I live in Norhtern VA and we get all the Maryland games. They have some very talented players on this past year's team and it will be interesting to see what GC would do with those guys against different competition.
