I'd love to have Chaney. Partly because Arky hates him (gotta be something good in that). He's not a flashy hire by many standards. But he is rock solid.

But he understands offenses, isn't tied to a 'style' (which could be a negative in our case), damn sure understand OL's, and can recruit. Needs to lose some weight, but that's the only glaring negative I can say about him off the top of my head.

If you truly 'heard' that, then it's probably smoke and mirrors. I'm assuming it's wishful thinking on your part. Since CEO laid the groundwork for CSE to be the new OC, I'm assuming it's been the plan for some time and they're not deviating. Alleva won't block it.
