If Lane stays at OM you gotta wonder why he handled it the way he did. He could announce he's staying at OM anytime he wants. If he's so happy there I just don't understand why he put them through all this.

This is the only reasoning I can come up with that makes me think he’s leaving. It makes zero sense to handle it like this if he has the intention of staying. Alienate players, coaches, boosters and fans? Why create that headache in an already stressful job.
