yeah, I mean the guy did a decent job at Ole Miss, and maybe he was resource/environment-limited, but the 4-7 year in 2004 hurt his reputation in terms of his ability to lead a program to consistent success.

I think Cutcliffe is one of those guys, like Crowton, who is an excellent offensive coordinator but a pretty average head coach.

Or see what Mike Dubose is doing? He did win an SEC at Bama.

Coach Cutliff has already had a heart attack. Can you imagine the stress he would have had this season? He was fired, and LSU should never hire any coach that has been fired, for whatever reason.

No. He got fired at Ole Miss for a reason. They had a 4-7 season, he supposedly presented no plan to turn things around when asked to do so, was supposedly against making staff changes, and they fired him.
