Put it this way. With this clown and shite show going on, if you get a coach as good as Jon Sumrall from Tulane to come here, you need to thank your lucky stars.

Not quite correct.

O got his full buyout of $17 million paid on a schedule. Advocate article on Ed O buyout

Headline:

"LSU to pay Ed Orgeron full $16.9 million buyout as part of separation agreement"

Les got his full buyout paid on a schedule. Only after Les decided to get back into coaching did he negotiate a settlement of the remaining balance with LSU and viola a few days later he was announced as the new HC at Kansas.

ESPN article on Les' buyout

Les's buyout upon termination in 2016 was approx. $9,000,000 he received payments on the schedule of $2,500,000 and settled the remaining $6.500,000 for $1,500,000 in November 2018.
