Well, tonight was disappointing as an LSU fan. Riley would have been a great hire.

Especially given how indispensable quarterback play has become in the college football realm.
I hope Woodward gives consideration to other young and promising coaches (Aranda, etc.), rather than hiring some decrepit old retread destined for mediocrity.

If we couldn't get him here for 12 million a year, he didn't want to be here, worst case scenario is that he's not coach here and we continue to arse rape OU every time we play them.

LSU Football just upset #14 Texas A&M on a glorious game-winning 85-yard drive and then held on defense with two sacks in the last 20 seconds.

I would too. I think Riley backed out, but that is pure speculation.
