Fair enough.

Seems odd still that this is the primary reason. Surely, Big Charlie could get his son on in some capacity where ever he would be coaching whether it be at Florida, KC, Texas, Pitt, etc

work for a brand new head coach who was never really known for his recruiting?

What? He's had a reputation as a strong recruiter for years.

Thats big news but there is some other news along with this that add some more to the staff in a big big way

LINK

The Gators hired receivers coach Aubrey Hill and defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson. Florida also retained three current assistants Sunday. Muschamp kept running backs coach/recruiting coordinator Stan Drayton, linebackers coach/special teams coordinator D.J. Durkin and tight ends coach Brian White.

Hill, who played at Florida (1991-94), is returning to Gainesville after spending the last three years as Miami's receivers coach. He also served as the Hurricanes' recruiting coordinator last year and has ties to talent-rich South Florida.

Getting "The U's" recruiting coordinator will be huge - especially for this upcoming Feb and next Feb since most coaches are working on the future classes at this point.
