I agree. My better sense took over today and I finally had to just get back to reality. Do what's right. Go get Herman. Strike while the iron is hot. He's no different from the beginning of the year. Still the guy we need. Recruiting inroads in tx. Offensive guy. The aranda connection. It all makes sense.

Who do you propose if you think Herman isn't ready?
Saban, Harbaugh, Meyer? They all were a nobody at some point.
Herman led Ohio state over bama as the OC a couple years ago, he has a great spread offensive scheme, and I think he can develop Myles Brennan when he gets here.
If you are in the O crowd... please don't tell me you think he's ready to lead lsu offense where it needs to be. I love coach O, but he is not suitable to be the coach as evidence by his history and most recent preparation of 2 weeks for bama
