I want a d.c. who would be considered as a h.c. one day. He does good for you, get someone else when the time comes.
You prove you are a program that produces h.c.'s. The quality coaches will stand in line to come coach at your university.
It's like not wanting a recruit because he's so good he'll leave early for the NFL.

i hadn't heard anything about him until they talked about it on buddy's show earlier.
sounds like a good hire.
hopefully he is at least in the mix.

We need coaches that can not only recruit, but are great teachers. McCarthy aint the later.
Can you defend this statement by citing specific instances?
Cinderella, you can't just make baseless accusations with absolutely no foundation in fact in order to define who is and who is not a good coach.
Any underperformance from this years WRs is solely apportioned to: 1) youth/inexperience at QB, 2) terrible attitude by a player (DB), 3) poor hands in the other starter (this is the same guy who caught a pass last year, turned and lateralled it to an Auburn defender)(BL), and 4) Miles' refusal to play younger players over upperclassmen despite having more talent/more heart/more will-to-win (TT).
What part of that has anything to do with the WR coach?

I heard he was at the PMAC last night
Shouldn't he have been back in LA prepping for SC?
