I donate $10k a year. I’m not Todd Graves but I’m more than 95% of people willing to pay the buyout.
What I do know is this. There are limits to the money available for
LSU football. The donors are willing to spend $15-20 per year. And you want them to fund $54 millon now plus &15-20. The math isn’t mathing.
I’m pissed at BK and even more at SW. But burning this down is mega expensive.

Everyone would rather a cheap coach on a 3yr prove it contract...that is better than 1 or 2 years of BK...I would be fine with admin admitting that was the plan even... Heck advertise the opening strictly on what the pay is and see what your options are ..I'd be fine with a young coordinator or lower level HC...or even an old retread... whatever it takes to move from BK

Honestly, I hate him. He was decent in year 1 and 2.
He did replace House with Baker. He fricked up keeping Sloan and Davis. He fricked up not getting 2 or 3 better offensive lineman.
But his frickups aren’t worth $54 million.
We are stuck with that price so we need to be smarter.

Auburn is delusional and thinks they can turn their coaches over every three years and succeed. Bear in mind BK had a disaster season in South Bend and re-tooled and made it right. Harbaugh was a failure until year 7. Sometimes staying the course is the right play.

So, I guess A&M should have kept Fisher too? Fisher buyout was $72 million. But hey, guess they are idiots too. I mean A&M hasn't beat us two years in a row now, taken talent from under LSU's nose, and kicked our shite in last night. Sit on the sideline and let the big boys make the decisions because your logic is crap. And yes, A&M may have more money than us, but they proved, if you do it right, you will be a lot better off.
