You may not like either one, but they should be the top 2 candidates on the board.

Guice would run for 4000 yards in chip kelly's offense

No. Herman. It's always been Herman.

Petrino is a POS but he can coach.

Petrino had Arky in the top 5 and they were a perennial top 10 team under him. He's the best offensive mind in CFB. It's not gimmicky. He runs a balanced offense. He's got Louisville in the top 10.
Kelly is Saban like only for the offense.

Chip Kelly would be scary at LSU.

Chip will be available by first week of December and the move can be made at that time.
Whether or not he enjoyed the recruiting process, he will have those under him that will run that. He can accomplish so much more at LSU than he could at Oregon.

Yeah. One with no defense and the other a lying scumbag.

No defense? Did you watch the NC game against the greatest college QB ever?
Posted on 11/5/16 at 11:09 pm to DBU
Yeah. And he lost. Both are garbage.

Petrino isn't leaving
Herman would thrive here

Chip Kelly put out some defensive players as well. Deforest Buckner was one of the recent players.
He wasn't solely an offensive mind. He was a fantastic coach.
Say what you want, but if we could pull Kelly, everyone should be dancing in the streets in BR. Or Petrino for that matter. He's pretty close to having an undefeated team. Louisville blitzed the shite out of FSU with a far inferior roster, and he's one yard shy of beating Clemson in Clemson. He took a "project" three star QB and has turned him into a heisman contender. Louisville hasn't had many top 25 recruiting classes, and neither did Arkansas.
He worked wonders with Tyler Wilson and Ryan Mallett as well.
Kelly started with Dennis Dixon then went to Darron Thomas. He was the architect of Marcus Mariota. He also had Jeremiah Masoli, who was not a bad QB.
Neither one have had the resources in college that LSU would provide. Miles had the highest paid assistants in CFB. They both have an NFL background that recruits like.

Herman has one fifth the accomplishments Kelly and Petrino have. Kelly and Petrino are much more proven offensive minds and program builders.
I'd take Herman, but if either Kelly or Petrino are available, and they want the job, and we choose Herman, Joe should be shown the door.

The one thing about Chip is that his recruiting slowed significantly his last couple years there. Which is a big no-no here. But I think that can be navigated around in a state where you're the only show in town, with a good coaching staff around him.
