I think smoke screens are bull shite. I admit I hadn't thought this completely through till a couple days ago but in this situation why the frick would you need a smoke screen? It's no secret both parties (Jimbo and Herman) know each is being contacted by LSU simultaneously because, well, we need coach. Both know they're HIGHLY coveted. That's all the leverage needed IMO. Leaking shite to the public is useless in this particular situation.
