Washington State will retain Paul Wulff for at least another year

Washington State is sticking with coach Paul Wulff, the school's director of athletics announced Sunday.

AD Bill Moos said he alone made the decision to retain Wulff.

"It is my feeling at this particular time that the best course of action to move [toward success] is to continue with the current leadership," Moos said in a statement.

Washington State finished 2-10 this season, including 1-8 in the Pac-10. The Cougars beat Oregon State on Nov. 13 to snap a 16-game conference losing streak

That's too bad for Alabama fans. I thought if there was one BCS school that would take a hard look at Jim McElwain, it would have been Washington State because of his connections to that area.
