That's called a double standard. The only reason racism is still alive today is because black people won't let it die (yes I said it). Every little thing a white guy does that a black person doesn't like, they turn it into a race thing. Whites are NOT holding the Black man down.....the Black man is holding the Black man down. You want people to treat you equally, treat yourself equally.

We can never truly get rid of racism, because people will always not like people that are different. We can and to a large degree have eliminated much of the institutional racism that existed. There are people of many races that do benefit from crying about racism and getting votes/power because of it.

What I'm getting at is...if this exact same thing happened at A&M or another stereotypical "intolerant" school, maybe Ole Miss, Miss State, etc, it would be jumped on immediately as more justification of why that school is viewed that way by some.

that doesn't mean it would affect recruiting. A&M had no trouble recruiting black players in the 80's and 90's when they had better coaches.
However, the overall precption of the schools is a lot different than some comment by 1 or 2 students.

Your statement seems to imply that racism is now some myth or fallacy and that it went the way of the dinosaur...extinct/doesn't exist...and it only appears when blacks use it as a crutch or excuse when they feel wronged. That is completely ignorant. Racism does exist and there are hundreds of groups/organizations that practice it to this day!

Not untill Obama took office.......but here's the killer, it's not white people that's bring attention to his race, it other black men and women.
