If Spurrier and Del Rio both talk with LSU people and state they will come, they may let Les go without an effort to keep him.

Good point.

There was talk today of LSU waiving the buyout in order for it to be easier for UM to take Miles.

Dont see them making a big push to keep him.

2 mill a year plus a car allowance.
And a years subscription to hooked on phonics.

Especially if we lose the SEC championship against a hot, but talent-lacking Tennessee team. WE NEED REVENGE FOR 2005.

We got revenge last year at Knoxville. But more is good!

You can all bash Les all you want about his phonics and inability to speak publically....but after watching how slick Nick handled himself when changing jobs, my hat is off to Les for showing a TON of class in this whole thing. Really, a man has to follow his heart, and Les, though he bumbles and stumbles at time, is being stand up about the whole thing. He genuinely cares about this team, and I believe will do his damndest to make sure our "quality young men" have it strapped on and are ready to play come Saturday. If he goes, I wish him the best, and appreciate his patience in putting up with the fair weather jackasses that our school is blessed with.

I'd always felt Miles would leave for Michigan, but it just hit me that this could be done in a couple days. I still find it amazing how willing the average LSU fan is to let Miles walk.

what if Skip would have told Martin/Michigan no you can't talk to him.
