Yes, speed at which a position is filled is the most important thing. I say we hire someone NOW!! The hell with waiting. I mean who cares about the best candidate. I want someone fast just so I can sleep at night. This is the MOST IMPORTANT thing.

How do you know that a new DC hasn't already been selected and the announcement won't be made until said new DC finishes the job at his current employer?
You guys are absolutely ridiculous. Miles doesn't want it talked about because that's how rumors get started and information gets leaked before it is ready to be presented to the public. It's obvious that we need a new DC.

They were NOT up to the task as DCs. That is no reason to be assholes toward them. They SHOULD be replaced. They do not deserve all of the vitriol simply because they were unable to handle the promotion.Miles made a poor decision. It will be rectified. Lastly...
I NEVER said i wanted us to lose the bowl game; I was simply implying that if we won the game with a dominating defensive performance that it MAY allow false confidence in the defense to creep into the program.
Make no mistake, i certainly want us, LSU, to win the bowl game period. And of course if i had to choose b/w losing the bowl game, and crushing GT, i most certainly would choose the crushing of GT every day and twice on Sunday.
