He's a talented coach but not the total
Package. Jimbo is the total package. Balanced attack. Very seasoned in big games. Exceptional recruiter. Great QB developer. Knows the lay of the land at LSU already. It's a flat out Homerun hire.

I just have to disagree. Jimbo maybe have a balanced attack. But its dated. His offense looks awfully similar to Les/(Old Saban). Doesnt open his offense up until he trails. I want to see a power spread type system that Bama runs. That is winning in the SEC and ACC.

Last I checked, Fisher's worst season so far was 9 wins. Well damn, check this bum off the list.

Yep. It's times like this when I'm thankful that people of power and decision are few and it requires more than a keyboard or a season ticket to decide LSU's future.

They first went after Rich Rod, but he turned them down. And then they went after Saban, who was fed up with being in the pros where he couldn't push people around.

That isn't exactly how it went down, our AD was on Saban from the beginning but got pressured to make a move for Rich Rod because Saban wouldn't talk before the season was over or something.

A championship he won because of a superstar QB.
all 22 starters from the FSU 2014 NC team, along with kicker Roberto Aguayo (who was drafted in the 2nd round) played in the NFL. and that was Fishers 4th year, it was his team entirely.

OFFENSE

Jameis Winston, QB, Buccaneers

Devonta Freeman, RB, Falcons

Karlos Williams, RB, Bills

Rashad Greene, WR, Jaguars

Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Panthers

Nick O'Leary, TE, Bills

Cam Erving, OL, Browns

Tre' Jackson, OL, Patriots

Bryan Stork, OL, Patriots

Bobby Hart, OL, Giants

Josue Matias, OL, Titans

there's two Pro Bowl players there (Winston and Freeman), and three 1st round picks (Winston, Benjamin and Erving), including number 1 overall.

DEFENSE

Jalen Ramsey, DB, Jaguars

Ronald Darby, DB, Bills

Terrance Brooks, DB, Ravens

P.J. Williams, DB, Saints

Lamarcus Joyner, DB, Rams

Telvin Smith, LB, Jaguars

Terrance Smith, LB, Chiefs

Christian Jones, LB, Bears

Mario Edwards Jr., DL, Raiders

Eddie Goldman, DL, Bears

Timmy Jernigan, DL, Ravens

Jalen Ramsey went in the 1st round and five more went in the 2nd. Telvin Smith was named as one of the NFLs top 100 players.

Yep, exactly. That FSU defense was incredible and all recruited by Jimbo. Offense was stacked. Yet, all the idiots want to say 'but he only won because of Winston!'.

Some of our fans are absolute fricking morons.

but I believe Ed can recruit better than any option 3.

There is zero basis to say this over jimbo. Maybe valid over Herman but jimbo has proven to be top 3 recruiter in the country.
