Based on winning at USM, when he is recruiting against 5 big schools, and he is winning at NC. You never hear of any trouble at his programs

Coaches are winning at programs all over the country.

We should take him because he won at Southern Miss?

No, O would out recruit Fedora. Alleva may not have the right guy available this year. Why settle on a coach with a 5 year contract if top 2 choices turn you down?

Yesterday you wanted O over Fisher and Herman.

Today you want Fisher and Herman over O.

If coaching was not to blame for the loss today, why the sudden change of opinion?

You have a right to your opinion and I respect that. Just curious.

Does anyone recall how we got Saban in 1999? We offered him 2x what he was making.. Nearly 1 million a year. He was hoping to use it to make Mich St match it. They told him to walk.

The key is... we have to go big after who we want. Will we have to over pay? Probably... Just think of this... $5 more per seat in ticket price and concession increases will yield over 3 million a year alone.

Go big and get who we want.

well, I would absolutely prefer Herman, but never believed we were in it. Jimbo is a better hire than O, but I've been more concerned with what happens if Jimbo says no. I'm in the extreme minority on this, but I believe Ed can recruit better than any option 3. If we don't get top 2, give Ed a 3 year incentive laden contract with a top notch OC. People unfairly blame Ed for today's loss IMO, but most disagree with me on that. We outgained Florida 423 to 270 yards, many of which Florida got on one play. The 2 turnovers absolutely lost the game. But the 3rd and goal from the one yard line the absolute worst call ever!

Offer the man 6 mill a year guaranteed for 5 years. We will be in it in a heartbeat.

We are gonna have to force our target to say yes.

Just like Michigan did with Harbaugh.

They gave him an offer he couldn't refuse.

We need to follow suit.

How we could we not have the resources?

We just sunk a shite ton of money into the Stadium and program.

LSU is playing Big League ball now.

Go view their financial statements. They're loaded. If LSU does not land a big name, it will be a huge disappointment.
