I, for one, grew up pulling for both teams because I grew up on LSU football and graduated from "USL". I love my hometown but I pull for the Tigers because I love my state even more and I like for it to do well.
I don't understand how these clowns can come into this thread and cut us down and contribute zero intelligent perspective into the conversation. What good does it do? Do you get a boner when you say USL?

It's stupid to come to a high-traffic message board for quality conversation when we don't have that luxury with our own fan base?
I can understand if I came on here all "roll tide, go bama!" but we didn't. We are looking for other people, who know what they're talking about, to give their opinions on what's good for our program.

Hell, it is an LSU-related website, and there are plenty of people on the site not contributing anything useful and bashing LSU. Jay Walker makes Buddy Songy look like the king of sports radio. He is absolutely horrible at what he does. Dead air (which is a big no no in radio), hanging up on people that he disagrees with, shouting and yelling into the microphone so loud it distorts, and I nine times out of ten disagree with his commentary or the point he's trying to make.
And yes, he does not like LSU fans. He may respect the school and the sports teams, but he gets a little thrill calling out LSU fans on the air. To say he's pompous is a massive understatement. Dude is a straight up horse's arse.

I didn't say "all", so your interpretation of my statement is just that -- your interpretation. Others could have interpreted it as "some", while even others could have interpreted to mean "all USL fans that think they deserve their own positive thread on an LSU message board".

90% of posters in this thread have given us intelligent feedback, positive or negative. If someone says, "ULL's athletic budget is just too small for them to ever compete on the level they'd like to." And another person says, "USL SUCKS!". The former is going to do significantly more for the conversation than the latter.
Just don't be a douche. When you run TD you can weed out all the fans of teams you hate. But until then, live with it.

Not trying to weed out any other fans. Just pointing out that you shouldn't be surprised to see a USL sucks comment on an LSU website or any other website not dedicated to ULL sports.
