I like Campbell. But he's never coached college.

More like reaching first on an error after the pitcher beamed the first baseman in the face.

The guy has only been coaching for six years, has never coached college football, and has only been an interim head coach.

I swear, some of you guys are just trying to sound edgy with your choices.

He is much more than that. Resumes are flying in the Alleva's office. Many coaches want this job. Only a few will be considered. I believe Campbell will be interviewed. He will be tough to pass on after they interview him. Very impressive football mind.

He has 0 HC experience. I dont think LSU will even interview someone with 0 experience. Nice try though Dan.

Dan

How do you think our TEs will play tonight?

I think he was interim coach in the NFL.

But, he won't be seriously considered. In fact, he couldn't even sniff the offensive coordinator job here, IMO.

He was actually the Dolphins interim head coach last year for 12 games, and he's currently the Saints Assistant Head Coach/TE Coach.

He's also one of my all-time favorite Aggies.

It would definitely be an interesting hire. He doesn't seem like he'd be a natural recruiter at the college level. But talent is not really going to be a problem at LSU.

If I'm LSU, he's not my first choice, but a backup w/ good potential if the first tier options don't pan out.

There is a long list of coaches who one championships on their first head job. I'm telling you that he will knock their socks off in an interview. Incredibly personable and knowledgeable. He will lay out his plan to dethrone Nick. It will be a tough decision to pass him up.
