BullSam - are you hearing any talk locally about replacements? I read where Weatherbie referred the DC as his replacement - that should be the kiss of death IMHO.

Reffet? I don't know. He came from New Mexico, which, as mediocre as it was pre-Locksley, was more legitimate than ULM's ever been.

Nobody from the current staff has a chance (good thing). Several name school coords have been mentioned. Weatherbie was the lowest paid BCS coach in the nation. ULM Admin has promised to double his salary. He was making around $175,000.

It's going to take an increase to the coaching salary budget to get decent coordinators, position coaches, etc. If what I read was true, the current budget is anemic.
