Can't help but wonder why the D coaches are leaving ULM. Are they being hired by others who were impressed by the coaching against Bama? Is winning causing ULM to lose their staff? You win you Lose???

Pretty much. They get offered more money and move on. Nature of the beast, not that I'm calling ULM a beast.

Weatherbie at ULM has hired good experienced assistants. ULM has had many assistants move on to BCS teams, recently to Ole Miss. ULM has the smallest budget in Div. 1 and the coaches are paid accordingly. Just like anyone else when they get a chance to move up and make a little more cash they take.

ULM has always been a breeding ground for young coaches. Not only do they lose some to bigger schools, but the NFL took one during the summer. Kirk Botkin to Arkansas, Kim Dameron and Ron Dickerson to Ole Miss. It's a program that is headed in the right direction under Coach Weatherbie and young coaches see this as a great steppping stone. ULM 21 Ala 14.
