No reason for an extension for Tubbs besides that Tech knows that schools are going to be going after him. He didn't do anything special this year at all, esspecially in a year when Texas was down.

How do you recruit big time talent to Lubbock??Tuberville will keep them competitive, but difficult seeing Tech being a Top 10-15 program...

True story. Even in the 60s TT flew in all the recruits they could (instead of driving) because there is nothing but flat plains for hundreds of miles in all directions. Seeing a desolate wasteland for 2 hours before getting there didn't/doesn't help.
