Yeah, I guess it is too early until things are official. Just so much noise going on.
The Joe Dean comment was only because if we are losing potential quality because of money concerns, it's very Joe Dean-esque. Don't enjoy seeing the cash cow LSU football program penny-pinching while all the football donations are used to built up non money making sports.

Sometimes money issues are not that you can't afford it. It's a scale issue. You can't pay them more than another person on staff, because it creates turmoil.

True, that could explain Tolbert. But still leaves belowpar's statement of Crowton's buyout issue intact.
