I know everyone is wanting the media to grill Orgeron, but I’m hoping the hard questions are directed at Joe Alleva:

“Is Steve Ensminger the best OC in football? Did you lie, change your mind, or suddenly realize you already had the nation’s best OC already on staff?”

“You hired a failed Ole Miss coach who said he learned from his mistakes and was going to hire the best OC in football. Are you concerned at all that Ed has returned to his Ole Miss days, given he’s hiring his buddies who don’t meet those criteria?”

“How do you respond to fans concerned that we are returning to the 90s given these hires?”

“Why do you believe your decision to hire Ed was better than conducting an actual search after your first two targets didn’t work out?”

First question that should be asked:

“What the frick are you thinking?”

It needs to be more specific than that.

Use their own promises against them. The promises are what they used to justify hiring the worst coach in Ole Miss history.

You have to attack the foundation of their argument. They abandoned that foundation by allowing the Ensminger hire.

As much as I would love that, do these media members have the balls to do that in a way as to not lose their beloved "access" to the program?

But who knows? O was fricking MAULED by the media the Monday following Troy where he blamed everyone but himself.

"Are you related to Salty1"?

Seriously, though, the questions about hiring the best coordinators in the land has to be at the top of the list.

Remember the O show after Troy? It was fricking epic.

Let’s do it again. But even more extreme.

I am still not sure what question to be asked. Stuck at dumbfounded anyone else with me? I think coach e is actually smart and capable but why force the man into it?

The real questions will be more like "Which one of you would win in a gumbo cook off?"

Moscona will probably be the only one that asks a slightly tough question. The rest will be softballs so they don’t lose their access.

Dellenger - "What does this opportunity mean for Coach E?"

Rabalais - "How do you continue the record setting pace that Ensminger started in 2016?"

Shea - "What kind of offense will Ensminger run?"

Doucet - "How excited is Brennan to be coached by such a talented QB coach?"

“Quarterback development has been almost nonexistent at LSU for a long time. If we cannot effectively get our short and intermediate passing game going, our offense will be one dimensional. Why did we not hire a QB coach to staff and what will be done to further develop our QBs?”

Or

“Why did you hire your son’s football coach to the staff?”

Or
“What have you dont to show that you are 100% dedicated to making LSU football a championship contender?”

Another question that won’t be asked is,

quote:

The press release says that Ensminger, is “widely regarded for his development of quarterbacks”. Can you elaborate on that, specifically which quarterbacks credit Steve Ensminger for their development and explain why someone so highly regarded for his quarterback development has been tight end coach?
