You're clueless if you don't think UH is rattled by what's been happening in the last 24 hours. If this game is played last month, this doesn't happen.

When UH lost to SMU, it was the first game they played after they found out they wouldn't be in the Big 12. Again, a huge distraction.

The Navy game is the only legit criticism-and I'm even willing to give that a pass because Navy is a nightmare matchup for power 5 teams, much less a Mid-major Houston team.

Hanny said it last night--Houston doesn't have the depth and talent to look great EVERY week. Because Herman loses some games to lower ranked teams at Houston does not mean he will at LSU.

Some of you need to get a clue.

Exactly. The players for UH heard everything and I'm sure they are bothered by it.

Houston clearly wasn't good this year

They really aren't but they accomplished more with less

He beat Petrino. That makes up for this in my book. But he did get cucked by SMU

Exactly they don't

LSU needs a coach who can win big games

We can get by the type of games Houston loses on talent alone

Hope we get him !

So the head to head wins vs FSU, Oklahoma, and Loserville suddenly don't count. Name a better LSU win over the last two years. I'll wait.

I guess you dismiss any impact he had on the Bama-OSU playoff game too, right?

The SMU loss does matter, but doesn't cancel out these positives. Damn people. Critical thinking matters.

It's a 10 point game with a lot of football left.

It's easier to get your team up for name opponents like how LSU gets up for Alabama every year. But, it's concerning when you have bad losses like LSU has had the last couple of seasons.

It's a fair point. I don't deny that. I just don't think it automatically disqualifies him like some here do.

It greatly amuses me to see how mature and big picture we are when a non-LSU coach is getting whipped but see the sky falling when an LSU coach loses.

Agenda matters.

This game vs a good team on the road is not a whipping by any measure. Agenda, huh?
