If Mighigan can not talk to Coach Miles until after Saturday, why would anyone think that Saban, Spurrier, etc, etc would even entertain sticking their name out there on a limb? Last I heard Saban was recruiting for the university of Alabama two days ago.

This is a very critical time for LSU
We are on the verge of either maintining our status as a powerhouse or going back to being medicore

None of the prelimary contacts and dealing is done up front. All is done behind the scenes way before you even hear rumors. Miles has been gone for months. LSU already has a coach ready to sign the contract. LSU football is a 75 million dollar a year business. Do you really think they are waiting on LM to decide what he wants to do. Same goes for UM. Do you think they would risk the embarassment of messing with LSU's post season only to be turned down?

As for LSU having a deal done with someone else, unlikely. I would think that they have made some back channel contacts, but nothing more.
