I am a fan of Coach Oeaux, I just think there are a couple of better candidates out there for LSU. I don't think he is total garbage like you do! Then again what the frick do you know about football except sitting next to a tv!

Actually it depends on if he wins the bowl game or not.
I definitely agree with that especially if we play OU in the Sugar Bowl "if we get there."
Problem with that is LSU admin will have already named a HC prior to whatever bowl game LSU plays in so we will not get that data point to make an analysis with.

If LSU goes to the Sugar Bowl and O hasn't earned the job by then, he never had a chance to win it. You'd think they had a pretty solid plan in place when Miles was let go - not some "here, see what you can do, and you MAY get the job".
O has done as good as anyone could have expected, but he probably already knows the outcome and is just trying to enjoy coaching the Tigers while he can. After his interim stint at USC, and this season, he will probably get offered HC at a smaller school.
Whatever happens, I'm in. I hate that this loaded team had to endure the results of not getting the coaching situation resolved last year.
And pissed that the season is almost over already.

Couldn't agree with you more! If we win out and Coach Oeaux doesn't get the job he never really had a chance because expecting an interim coach to win out from a 2-2 start with having to beat Bama this year is completely and totally UNREALISTIC! And they already had a deal struck with the new HC prior to the firing of Miles.
