Seven active coaches that have won a National Championship. Six!! Look it up! Les Miles has embodied what a college football coach is supposed to be. If he leaves because of the BS that has been spewed about his lack of production, shame on every Tiger fan that wants him to go. He has professed his love for Baton Rouge. He knows our players' names, unlike Nick Saban. He only knew the stars. Seriously, in this day and age, how many coaches stay around for as long as he has......chasing a paycheck. I respect all opinions, but Les is my guy. Remember the pain of the Curley days. Remember them!

It's not our choice whether or not he leaves.

First, it's the Michigan AD's decision.

Then, it'll be Les's decision.

Whether you love or late Les makes no difference in whether he leaves. Why all these threads?

If he leaves it will be by his terms, not some jackoffs on an online forum saying he ain't doing good

All these threads because of all the fans that want him gone. The spoiled fans. Friggin look at the Curley days if you didn't live through them. Hell, Dinardo didn't do much better. Mediocrity. And that is what we could go back too. The devil you know is better than the one you don't know.

I mean, technically Chizik is active. Not actively coaching, but active

Would you be happy if we hired Gene Chizik to replace Miles?

Finally someone who is knowledgeable about LSU football . Remember when Dietzel left , 20 years of mediocrity with coach Mac . Then Stovall , Archer , and Hallman . Wow, that was some shitty years . ... Arnsparger was above average , but already close to 100 years old . Saban is gone for good , I would greatly prefer Les to stay on until he hangs it up for good .

One of the most knowledgeable, truthful posts of the day. The sleeping Tiger was awoken by Saban. Les has kept him awake.
