LINK This is pretty lengthly but goes into a lot of detail about Weis' allegations about Pete Carroll and the ND reporter that wrote it.

Weis thought he was bigger than the Notre Dame job and after that first year he figured I'm set along with my Super Bowl rings.

Weiss has always known if something happened at ND, he had a job(s) waiting in the NFL.

Weis won't have to work after ND has to pay for his long term contract.

that was a fantastic article. its still baffling to me that weiss failed. no one on earth had a better resume. everyone who wants to fire their coach because they have some cant miss genius in mind to replace him needs to think of weiss.
