Impossible to know, and that's the rub. That's what makes a great AD, being able to sit across the table from a guy like Herman and figure out if he's really the coach who embarrassed OU with a bunch of 3*s or the guy who just lost to SMU. I don't have a ton of faith in Alleva to make that call, but I do know that either Jimbo or O just feels like punting, except Jimbo will probably come with a massive buyout to get him to leave FSU, so we're married to him for three years for better or worse.
