Exactly. We all know that Texas and their boosters have more money than Bama. But in order for them to outbid Bama, they would have to go $15 or $20 mil (the aren't outbidding Bama at $10 mil). The highest NFL coach gets what, $8 mil? Even if they might be able to, Texas absolutely will not pay a coach $15 or $20 mil a year.

He makes what 7 or so now? Texas will pay more if they really think he's their man. Plus they could funnel a ton more to him thru the longhorn network. And Austin beats the hell out of gumpaloosa

If the ut boosters decide its saban or bust bama will not be able to match them. It goes beyond salary. Endorsements, coaches shows, etc add big bucks to the package.

Dude, if you think the LHN is a plus for him, you don't know him very well. He hates doing coaches shows every week, and only does one 30 min (probably only 10 min of face time) Bama show immediately after each game so that it doesn't mess up his strict schedule.
