We will have to pay through the nose to get a good coach after Currie's bullshite imo.
Besides, I'd rather pay more up front and get a guy like Gundy instead of going cheap and paying the same in the long run due to a buyout

Maybe he will. He's been there a long time. It might feel a little stale and he can't seem to get past OU there. OSU is simply below them in the B12 recruiting pecking order ( as well as UT, ATM, & TCU for TX recruits) and he may have to play OU twice now to win the B12.
UT is a big step up in profile and resources, especially with pending Neyland upgrades. He should be able to have better player talent, especially defensively at UT. If he's offered a huge raise and a long term contract with a big buyout, he just might take it.
