he point I've had from the beginning. Chizik deserves a good bit of the blame.

Every head coach deserves blame and like a good head coach he's taking steps to correct the issue. Next?

No, as long as you still have Malzahn's gimmicky high school offense, several rotating bad QB's, and no Cam Newton, AU will be mediocre at best

Yea you scared.

Which one fits Chizik style better ? I think after Roof and Chiz being far apart on defensive posture he'd want to get some more closely aligned with his own style?

Is that an incorrect assumption?

Ok. Looks like he is trying to fix the problem. What else do you expect him or AU to do?

Would be a good hire, I'd rather have him than Ellis Johnson.

I am refreshing all over our boards. He was a name I saw here and there but someone stated going to Auburn....don't take it as gospel, though.

I have heard this shite every year for about 30 years from bama fans. Their predictions of returning to the days of dominance over AU still haven't come to fruition. They have a few good years and all of the sudden think we are in the 1970's again.

Why so high on him? Admittedly I don't know a ton about him, but he didn't work out so well as a HC at Marshall.

Les Miles' D has never looked like Auburn's did this year.

What side of the field do Les Miles roots lay?

His defenses almost always finish top 30 and he has a great resume, outside if his HC job. He's a much better DC than HC.
