TBL/Vol - what is the timeline you think we gave Riley for a decision?

I'd imagine by end of this weekend but curious what your thoughts are or if you heard anything specific?
I just can't see this playing out all of next week as well with the potential to be burned considering the other openings out there.

The running narrative has been before ESD. With OU's loss last week and their position in the CFP rankings, IF he wants to come he should have no problem signing on.

I’d agree that it’s this weeks end and is shite or get off the pot. We can’t wait around to get played. Take what we’ve agreed upon (spoken terms favorable to both sides) and make a decision. Otherwise, we move on.

Why would that make sense? If OU beats Iowa St, then they have their biggest game of the season against top 10 OSU & trying to win a conference championship.
LSU is smart enough to realize that he would be focused on his current job.
BIG 12 Championship is 12/4, so probably 12/5 at the earliest.

Vol, TBL, and Gruss said unless OU matches, which they all said the likely won’t Riley is ours, TBL and Gruss have said Riley has verbally agreed to the deal and it is huge. Vol described the deal as 12.5 for 8 years and automatic extensions for making the playoff which will soon be 12 teams, this deal also includes from vol a budget for assistants as high as anyone in the country. The deal could be announced as early as Thanksgiving weekend.
