How do you know?
He’s got some major characteristics of a winner, competitor, a dog in the trenches kind of guy, players love him & he rebuilt Tulane for Christ sakes.
They lost a ton to the portal and departure of Fritz.
I’m not saying he’s the savior, but you don’t know jack shite! Some Monday morning QB evaluation.
I was never a college coach but I did coach ball at the highest level in La. And used to coach Saban & Tubervillrs recruiting camps back in early 2000’s
Enough where I can speak on football coaches and potentials, and I happen to like this Coach. He’s no chump and has EXTREME WORK ETHIC!
That’s a key piece of the puzzle.

Sumrall was 7-1 in his conferences in 4 seasons as a HC. He is 4-0 so far this season. He is not simply out-talenting anyone.
Now, can he RECRUIT like you need to to win in the SEC. That would be my question.
