He may be the guy. I actually thought about this earlier. He did not say he retired when he was at USC but he said he was resigning. I think he quit that job because he was pissed at someone on the administration. Also, I think he has been frustrated for the last several years watching Saban and Urban win NC's while he is stuck at USCe. Not a knock on USC but that is not a football school that can compete with schools like Alabama, LSU and Tennessee on a regular basis. Spurrier is an offensive genius, can develop a QB and would be dangerous at LSU.

Heck yeah y'all get Spurrier,Bowden and then get Stallings.Yall would be rolling but the only catch is all your games would have to be in the morning cause they all would be eating supper at 4 and be in bed by 5.

Not sure if serious... He said resign because he might coach high school.
And are you just making shite up about the administration? I'm pretty sure he quit because him, his son, and his son's buddies ran the program into the ground and he was tired of getting his arse kicked halfway thru the season. He also knew that he would continue to get his arse kicked the 2nd half of the season and as many more years as he stayed because he got lazy after the "3 11 win seasons" and decided he didn't need to recruit or work hard. It was past the point of Steve being able to fix it by only working 30 hours a week.
