Figured it'd might be a good idea to have 1 central thread for major updates to see the progress of who may be hired after Legendary Coach Steve Spurrier.

This is just standing as of right now:

THE TOP TWO:

Will Muschamp - Auburn DC
Lincoln Riley - Oklahoma OC

Others to consider:
Shawn Elliott - South Carolina Interim HC
Shane Beamer - Virginia Tech AHC/RB Coach
Larry Fedora - North Carolina HC
Jeremy Pruitt - Georgia DC
Tom Herman - Houston HC
Rich Rodriguez - Arizona HC
Greg Schiano - Former Rutgers/Tampa Bay HC
Sonny Dykes - California HC

I don't like Smart for this job.

I'd personally be satisfied with any of the Top 3 Choices. (Herman, Fuente, Smart)

I think Brohm would be solid.

I'm fine with Herman, Fuente or Smart at this point.

Probably want Herman, Smart and Fuente in that order but I'm not picky.

If Elliot can get us to a winning record and a win over Clemson then I'd like to see him get a shot.

Elliott is not who we need. I'd be ok with him staying in staff, just not as HC.

I don't understand why people in our fan base keep saying this.

B/C our OL has been good for the past 5 years. We had more NFL OL get drafted since Elliott has been here than the 15 years prior. Plus he ca recruit and develop talent.

What has Chad Morris done as a HC to warrant all this attention for huge jobs?

He's had an awful first year at smu. Getting beat by a FCS school on homecoming doesn't help

Exactly. But there are some VaTech boards that have him in their Top3.

I think USCe would pay enough and is a good enough job to get a coach with experience . I don't get the a Smart rumors. I would take Kiffin over Smart. He has experience , great recruiter (maybe a little dirty in recruiting) and you know he is not riding another coaches back.

And that's why people don't want him as HC?

We'll take Elliot off your hands if your new coach doesn't want him.
