Here is my thing with this whole Steve Spurrier coming to LSU thing. Who else is there really for us to get that could bring instant name recognition for recruiting and has the track record of being successful. Maybe Petrino, Tubby, but IMHO that he isn't passed his prime and just needs a chance to get back to a place he can actually recruit the top athletes and do his thing.

Im not all about Spurrier either, but SC did have a very good recruiting class last season. He must be doing something right. And Florida didnt dominate the SEC until Spurrier arrived.
