Is there any hint/indication/hope that he might consider LSU?

It's really mere speculation. Obviously he wanted the job 20 years ago. Has he since? He's been mentioned at every hire (except Dinardo) and there's never been any proven fire to that smoke.
I think that golf and grandchildren are more important to SOS than moving to BR and trying to win one more championship. What else does he have to prove?

Don't you think Spurrier could be using the LSU opening to his advantage with South Carolina. A bargaining chip. Hey you bastards, I want more money and easier admission procedures for my guys or I go to LSU.

Zee was on here yesterday saying Pelican Point is a much greater golf course than Augusta National is. And for that reason alone, Spurrier has decided to move.

Unless SFP is just yanking chains I would think someone that posts on here as much as him, and who hates to admit when he's wrong as much as he does, would have to have some shred of something to make him believe this. Again though,some people from the MSB think it's cute to get the masses stirred up.

Spurrier was supposed to be in an Alabama plane last year drinking champagne and signing on the dotted line. His name always comes up. I highly doubt he comes here.

I am really wondering why we want Spurrier. NOrmally a Coach coming off a 5 game losing streak would set off alarm bells. The fact that a a few weeks ago he said his teams attitude stinks and that his teams did not appear motivated would raise alalrm bells. Yet Spurrier is getting a pass that should for some reason bypass a nationwide Coaching search.
I often kid about LSU fan insecurity but this just screams it. I think people are more in love with the fact that LSU will have a big name.
He might be the best person for the job but I the fact that pople would endorse jumping at him and hiring him on Monday indicates a lack of vision
