Something to look at before you fall in love with an O.C.

I notice alot of people fall in love where a offense ranked nationally and who was the o.c. of this offense. I don't think this tells the entire story.
I think it is important to look at how their offense performed against the best defense/competition they faced.

Good call. I like how Jim McElwain calls plays at Alabama. I like how Chrsyt calls plays at Wisconsin. LSU is built for pro-style sets. Dan Mullen for example, is not a good fit. I don't think Malzahn's offense is either. Unless you have a Tebow, Newton, Young at the helm, it's hard to consistently move the ball with those offenses. Pro-style offense is what they use in the NFL. There's a reason.
Also, one of the major things with Crowton is going 5 wide with a QB that struggles reading pass coverage. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that isn't a good idea.
