So why does Seth Littrell get no mention?

Lane Kiffin gets the pub, but his Conference USA title game opponent, North Texas' Seth Littrell, has done an excellent job turning things around in Denton. Littrell is 8-3 in his second season, and North Texas' 420 points rank second in the league behind Kiffin's FAU offense (446 points).

Littrell was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and attended the University of Oklahoma, where he played four years and was a team captain on the Oklahoma Sooners football team that won the 2000 national championship. He graduated in 2001 with a degree in communications.
Litrell started his coaching as a graduate assistant for the Kansas Jayhawks football team for two seasons from 2002 to 2004.

Under Mike Leach, he was running backs coach at Texas Tech from 2005 to 2008. From 2009 to 2011, Littrell coached the offense at Arizona. Then from 2012 to 2013, Littrell was offensive coordinator and tight ends coach at Indiana from 2012 to 2013. From 2014 to 2015, Littrell was assistant head coach for offense and tight ends coach at North Carolina under Larry Fedora. In Littrell's last season at North Carolina, the team finished 11–3 and first place in the ACC Coastal Division.
Might not be his year to jump, but he's definitely one to keep an eye on.

That is close to what Barry Odom resume but he was on the defense side.

As a UNT grad I would hate to see him go since he’s done a great job of turning the program around. However, I wouldn’t be happier for him to take a job at a bigger program.
I could see Graham Harrell taking the program over when he leaves.
Unfortunately at a program like UNT, a successful coach won’t be there for long.

I have a buddy who’s a UNT alum and fan. He knows Littrell is going to jump soon. They’ve had a revolving door of coaches for several years. They finally found a good coach, but realize he’s not going to be there long.
He was hired after they went 1-11 in 2015, including something like a 60 point homecoming loss to FCS school Portland St.
I've heard his name associated with Tx Tech if they let go of Kingsbury this year or next.
His OC is Graham Harrell. Expect his name to be a hot commodity soon. He might jump to a bigger school as OC before Littrell leaves.
