That only warranted a suspension?

It was Tom Osborne. He'd do anything to win.

Exactly, only winning the sec and beating the best coach of all time is acceptable. It’s fricking stupid. He led Oregon, a team who outside of one of the all time greats had never even sniffed a huge bowl game in 30 years to a damn no appearence and had his team play auburn closer than anyone else that year but yet he can’t coach in the sec.

Most of y’all dont know shite about football and it’s obvoious. Sorry most of y’all are retarded when it comes to coaches. It was obvious in the fleck thread and this puts it over the top.

I’m guessing most of you think urban Myer sucks huh cause he plays in the big 10. Idiots, fricking idiots everywhere.

They say Chips offense wont work in the SEC yet it did pretty good in the NFL...

Idiots

Look up Oregons avg recruiting class while he was there. He thrashed teams with more talent and nearly won a NC with a team of mostly 3 star recruits.

Exactly he lost to two all time great sec teams and all of the sudden he can’t coach. They say he doesn’t care about defense yet he gave aliotti full control and magically the defense improved.

The idiots that thrash jelly and fleck are the same people that couldn’t tell you the difference between a zone scheme and a gap/man scheme and could never tell you why certain steps are important for a lineman.

Theres reasons he built his offense around IZ / OZ.

IZ ol steps in direction the play is going, dbl teaming dl playside. Pushing hin in the lap of the backer and peeling off to block the backer as he gets close. OZ everyone reach blocks playside. But the devil in the detail is how Chip places his RB for each. For IZ he has the back at an angle behind the QB, OZ he has the back out wider. Almost announcing the play to the defense in hopes their rush to get outside will create a lane for the back to cut up into. He uses the speed of his offense to play with the defenders minds. In coaching its called paralyzation by over analyzation. Ie if the mind is moving, the feet arent.

He also used inside trap and counter beautifully. One thing he did later on to was he adjusted as the defense adjusted by adding in a cut back play where the play looks like an oz to get the linebackers flowing, then rb cuts back against the flow at the same time the guards peel off and cut back against the backside.

His use of zone concepts, bootlegs etc were beautifu, IMO he took the shananhan zone offense and brought it into the 21 century to account for the stupid crazy size and speed of linebackers and safeties.
