Did Saban sign his contract, so Texas decided to keep Mack?

Or did Mack return, so Saban signed his contract?

Timing clearly is not a coincidence

I think Mack messed it up...He was harder to remove than people thought

I wouldn't want to coach a place where half the people in the administration wanted me gone

Alabama Athletics @UA_Athletics
Nick Saban and The University of Alabama have concluded a long-term agreement to keep him as head coach of the Tide. More details to follow.

Mack staying is further proof that not all people in positions of power are smart.

I don't believe Saban showed enough interest in Texas...that was the beginning, IMO. I understand Saban not leaving, but to keep Mack is puzzling.
