OU just isn’t making the playoffs. They’re so far out looking in.

You can believe that if you want, but 1 loss Alabama is currently #2, and was ranked even above an undefeated Oklahoma.
Maybe someone else sneaks in over Alabama, but my point was it won't be a 1 loss Oklahoma team. The committee clearly does not like them.

Well, OU likely promised him a bunch of stuff as part of that and if they aren't delivering (facilities, staff salaries, etc.) then Riley isn't the one to blame here.

So why is Alabama #2, ahead of numerous undefeated or 1 loss teams (and was ahead of undefeated OU, by a significant margin, last week)?

That’s not true. The option to leave for another job is literally in his contract that he agreed to and signed.

Notre Dame gets in before OU unless they blow everybody out to end the season.

I don't see them taking a 2 loss Bama team coming off a loss in a conference championship game unless it's a final play of the game deal.
