A&M wanted Elko first so they offered to pay Aranda more money than they paid elko and when he said no they went back to elko. Who again was their first choice?

They never meant to get Aranda
It was just a ruse to trick us into giving him a raise and extension while they hire Elko who can field a better defense than Aranda.

Aranda only stayed bc he had to. He couldn't afford to feed his family on the 2 plus million the aggies offered. That extra couple hundred thousand was just too much to walk away from so he will stay but he can't wait to leave
