I think the difference between O + elite staff and Jimbo/Herman + expected staff is under $2M/yr. Probably $9M total vs. $7.5M total. Even if we get our best case scenario with Kiffin as OC and Aranda as DC no other team would take Coach O over Fisher or Herman.
When you add the fact that we don't have Kiffen yet and can still lose Aranda, I question why the announcement of Coach O at this time.
