Signing day is less than a month. If they decide late Friday, new DC will not be announced until the following week.
It's not like this was a bomb dropped out of nowhere on the program, this was a known potential possibly for a while now.

True. Seems like our situation might have been better to attract top flight talent.
Its tough to hire a coach. Needs scheme, recruiting, chemistry, etc. We'd all love the plug in splash hire but reality is more complicated.
